Looking in the Wrong Place

There was a man squatted in the street, apparently looking for something,
A curious crowd gathered, commenting to each other, and many also crouched down to help in the search.
What are you looking for?” asked one of the squatters.
“I am looking for a one dollar coin”, said the original searcher.
“Where did you loose it?” asked someone else.
“At home.” came the reply.
“Then how come you are searching for it in the street?” said one of the group that had now blended in with the owner.
“Because here it is brighter!”
