Just One Thought

One day Manjusri Boddhisattva asked a novice to pick some herb medicine.
Whatever medicinal herbs you find, bring them.
So the novice surveyed the whole land, and he discovered that every grass and plant is a medicine. He went back and reported to Manjusri,
I looked everywhere, and found that everything can be used as a medicine.
If this is so, then collect some, responded Manjusri.
The novice picked up some grass from beside his feet, and offered it to Manjusri Boddhisattva, who smiled whilst accepting it. Then, Manjusri presented it to the crowd saying,
This herb can cure people and also kill people, the difference can be just one thought.
